Aldevron Names Dr. Thomas Lynch Vice President of Sales and Client Development

Thomas-Lynch.jpgThomas Lynch, Ph.D., has been named Vice President of Sales and Client Development of Aldevron. Lynch will guide the sales strategy and growth for Aldevron’s product lines in nucleic acids, proteins, and antibodies. His responsibilities include growing the company’s sales team to further support Aldevron’s worldwide preclinical and GMP client base.

Lynch has 10 years of biotechnology sales experience and holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry. He has most recently served as Vice President of Sales for DNASTAR, a leading sequence analysis software company. Before joining DNASTAR he held roles of increasing responsibility at Aldevron, most recently as Director of Client Relations.

“We are excited to welcome Tom to this senior leadership position,” said Michael Chambers, the company’s CEO. “Tom’s proven track record of growing sales in the biotechnology industry as well as his prior experience and success at Aldevron will enable him and his team to provide the highest level of service to our growing client base.” Chambers added that Lynch’s addition to the executive team is a key part of the company’s strategy to meet the requirements of the rapidly expanding antibody, cell and gene therapy industries.

Lynch holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in Minneapolis, and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois in Champaign, Ill.
