The story of Emily Whitehead “Of Medicine and Miracles.”

Aldevron welcomes everyone to join a free, special screening of the documentary “Of Medicine and Miracles.” This award-winning film digs deep into the story of Emily Whitehead, the first pediatric CAR T-cell patient, and the medical team that not only saved her life, but also changed how we treat cancer and other diseases, impacting and empowering future generations.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Sadik Kassim, CTO Genomic Medicines for Danaher, Aldevron’s parent company. We are also very excited that both Tom Whitehead, father to Emily and tireless advocate for hope, and Dr. Carl June, the renowned physician-scientist who developed the CAR T-cell therapy that saved Emily’s life, will join us live, virtually.
